Day 3 inaugural motorcycle transam: Statesville, NC – Wheels Through Time

Day 3 was a day of climbing into the mountains of North Carolina! We went from 963 feet in elevation all the way up to 3000 feet, and the change was no joke. The day started with an immediate road closure, but our riders didn’t hesitate and kept pushing forward. At first the hills were gradual, but before long they turned into long and tough pulls that really tested both rider and machine. The roads wound their way upward, and the challenges stacked up quickly. Clutches were smoked, belts were swapped, and yet the determination was stronger than ever.

By the end of the day nearly everyone made it in thanks to some quick thinking and a lot of teamwork. The finish line was one of our absolute favorite spots, Wheels Through Time in Maggie Valley. Walking in feels like stepping into motorcycle heaven with antique bikes everywhere and history packed into every corner. The welcome our riders received was nothing short of incredible. Fans lined the place, cheering as the riders rolled in. The Wheels Through Time crew went above and beyond, helping with bike repairs for tomorrow, serving up the most amazing homecooked meal, and treating everyone like royalty.

It was a day full of challenges, passion, and community. Day 3 of the TransAm is officially in the books and what a GREAT one it was!
