Nathan Grubb

My name is Nathan.  I live in Florida with my beautiful lady Angel.  I am passionate about riding, building, collecting, and racing vintage American motorcycles, along with an unwavering love for peanut M&M’s.

I bought my first motorcycle 30 years ago when I was 15, a crappy old 1972 Honda CB750.  I traded that bike a few years later to my brother for a worn-out Whirlpool washing machine because I was smelling extremely poor from trying to kick-start that old cycle in the hot Indiana summers.  I quickly realized I did not need the washing machine as much as I was no longer kickstarting that old piece of exercise equipment, so I decided to buy an even worse headache, being an IronHead sportster.  I have ridden old Harley-Davidsons ever since and have mastered fixing worn-out washing machines.  I have raced a brakeless, handshift WR since 2020 and recently added a 1924 Harley JE board tracker to my pits.

I will be the least knowledgeable racer with the smallest amount of experience on these vintage machines, but guaranteed to have the biggest smile every mile and will grow as we roll.  I’m beyond grateful for my friends Sean and Tom at Comp D, who were willing to work with me to make this dream a reality, and my great friend Blair for being my wingman.  If you see us broken down on the side of the road, please toss me a big yellow bag of M&M’s and Blair a protein bar so we don’t starve!  See you on the open road!
